Ready the first 40 Italian SuperMEN

sticker with the symbol of accessibilityIn Italy, the SuperMAN project is in its main phase: 40 employed of Conad(one of the most important retail chains in Italy) participated into a training path in order to be able to host, listen to and support people with mental disabilities during the daily shopping.

The italian supermarkets involved are 21 all around the area of the provinces of Forlì-Cesena and Ravenna (Emilia Romagna region)

On Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December were celebrated two days of launch of the SuperMAN project: in the involved supermarkets were distributed information and gadgets to the clients.

The supermarkets involved in the SuperMAN project show a sticker (the one on the left) with the pictogramme S3A (symbol of accessibility for mental disabled people). The trained staff wears the same symbol (as you can see on the right).
